Valley Center Jr. Mighty Mites had an outstanding pre-season opener against the La Costa Canyon Thundering Mavericks! Crishawn Gordon made his first touchdown of the season in the first quarter of the game. Some great tackles were made by Jason Boyle, Kyler Riche, Tommy Lavigne, and Ryan Mihoky. Final score LCC - 21, VC - 6. The VC Roaring Jaguars never gave up. They were fierce!
