The Valley Center fighting Jaguars played a tough game this weekend against the Brave Hawks from Murrieta. The Stingy Jaguar defense held the Brave Hawks to one touchdown. The defense was led by stellar performances from Ozzie Anderson, Henry Bojorquez, and Keith Vasquez. The Jaguar offense was led by QB Julian Contreras who ran for two touchdowns, one for 50 yards and the other a one yard QB keeper. Brock Moffitt had a great day at the fullback position gaining 85 yards against a very tough Murrieta defense. The Jaguars where not able to secure the win until the last 45 seconds of the game when Quest Smith caused a fumble that was recovered by Ronnie McCowan to seal the hard fought 13-6 victory. This next week will be the battle of the two undefeated teams as the Jaguars take on the Vista Cougars. |
